Sorabol

Earlier today, I went to a 24-hour Korean restaurant called Sorabol. My sole focus: spicy tofu soup or soon dobu chige!!!

I ordered a bowl for $10, and it was every bit as satisfying as I had remembered. Fresh, soft pieces of tofu with the rich taste of clams which came to the table still bubbling (you can see from the picture that the steam got in the way of a good photo). I love to dump in my bowl of rice, and the grains soak of all the rich flavor. Yum!

As a plus, I found out if you go to restaurant from 8 am to noon, you can get a couple of dollars off stews and soups on the breakfast menu.

It also came with the Korean vegetables for free. What a deal! More delicious, too.

At the end of the meal, the waitress gave us the sweet ginger rice drink (I can't remember what it's called.) A perfect ending to the meal.
